Delusional 妄想

A man.

一个男人。

A man who screams —

and whines —

and shouts at the very limit of his vocals —

一个嘶吼的男人——

哀嚎——

在嗓音极限处咆哮——

That girl is treasure, and one day he would be lavished.

那个女孩是珍宝，

有一天他将被纵情奖赏。

Riches, diamonds, gold that shimmered,

Painfully bright, glittering from his pockets instead of alone.

财富、钻石、闪耀的黄金，

刺眼得令人疼痛，

不再孤独地存在，

而是从他的口袋里溢出。

For why should anything cherished,

Anything relished with something more than words can describe,

Gems and rubies,

Be lonely in this cursed world?

为何一切被珍视之物，

一切言语难以形容的珍爱，

宝石与红玉，

要在这被诅咒的世界里

孤独存在？

Accused world, dirty cheats and chessboards swollen —

Justice engulfed, pieces replaced by blood.

Filthy, unruly green sat atop our kings and queens.

被指控的世界，

肮脏的欺诈，

膨胀的棋盘——

正义被吞噬，

棋子被鲜血替换。

污秽、失控的绿色

坐在我们的国王与王后之上。

Uncork the champagne, drink til’ it burns you inside out.

拔开香槟的软木塞，

喝到它从内而外灼烧你。

Choke the heart whilst it beats,

Strangle your senses before they get to speak.

在心脏跳动时将它扼住，

在感官开口之前

先将它们勒死。

Greed was never what the lock was made for.

锁从来不是

为贪婪而生的。

Shattering on the floor, horrible fumes would start haunting —

Day, night, human nature knows no limit.

The emotional foundation now a riptide.

它在地面碎裂，

可怖的气味开始纠缠——

白昼、黑夜，

人性从无边界。

情感的地基

如今化作激流。

Jewels and more priceless unnameables,

珠宝，

以及更多无价却无法命名之物，

The roof he stood upon straining under his weight,

Near crumbling, pain was almost physical around it.

他所站立的屋顶

在重量下呻吟，

几近崩塌，

痛感几乎具象化地

围绕着它。

and down it went crashing tumbling so did the man mid scream mid madness

the treasure of a maiden now splattered with his blood

于是它坠落、粉碎、翻滚而下，

男人亦在尖叫中、疯狂中

一同坠落——

少女的珍宝

如今溅满了

他的鲜血。
